Refund & Payment Policy

How our staged fees work, what happens if an application is denied, and when money is and is not returned.

This policy explains how EB3 Hub charges for its services, what happens if your case does not succeed, and when money is and is not returned. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

Your signed service agreement sets the exact amounts for your case. Where that agreement and this policy conflict, the signed service agreement governs.

1. Fees are staged, never all up front

EB-3 service fees are split across three milestones so that what you pay tracks the progress of your case:

  • Initial engagement — paid when you sign on and we begin work: eligibility review, document preparation, and matching you with a sponsoring U.S. employer.
  • After labor certification — paid once the PERM labor certification stage is complete and your case moves toward the I-140 petition.
  • Final stage — paid at the immigrant-visa stage, as your case reaches consular processing or adjustment of status.

Family members applying with you (a spouse, and unmarried children under 21) carry a smaller additional cost each.

Exact figures depend on your case and are shared clearly and privately after your eligibility review — before you commit to anything.

2. What our fees do not include

Our service fees cover EB3 Hub's advisory and placement work. They do not include:

  • U.S. government filing fees;
  • attorney fees charged directly to you by a licensed immigration attorney, where applicable;
  • medical examinations, police certificates, passports and vaccinations;
  • document translation, notarisation or courier costs;
  • travel to interviews or to the United States.

These third-party costs are paid to the third party concerned and are outside our control and not refundable by us. Government filing fees are generally not refunded by the government even if a petition is denied.

Employers pay all PERM labor-certification costs, as U.S. Department of Labor regulations require. That stage cannot lawfully be charged to you, and we will not ask you to pay it.

3. Refunds

Payments made to EB3 Hub are non-refundable. Each payment buys work that is performed when it is made — the eligibility assessment, the preparation of your profile and documents, and the effort of placing you with a sponsoring employer — and that work cannot be returned once done.

You are paying for professional services and effort, not for a guaranteed outcome. Please read our Legal Disclaimer before you pay anything.

4. If your application is denied

This is where our commitment sits, and it is a commitment of work rather than of money:

If an application is denied, we re-apply with a new sponsoring employer at no additional service cost.

Your existing payments carry over to the new attempt. You do not pay our service fee twice. New government filing fees and any new third-party costs for the fresh filing will still apply, because those are paid to third parties rather than to us.

This commitment assumes you gave us accurate and complete information. If a denial results from information you concealed or misrepresented — a criminal record, a prior immigration violation, a previous refusal or a relevant health condition — we are not obliged to re-file, and no refund is due.

5. If you decide to stop

You may stop working with us at any time by telling us in writing at [email protected]. We will confirm receipt, stop work, and tell you the status of anything already filed.

Payments already made are not refunded, and any milestone payment that has already fallen due remains payable. Withdrawing after a filing has been submitted does not withdraw that filing automatically — tell us if you want a filed petition withdrawn, and we will pass the request to the employer and attorney.

6. If we stop

We may end our engagement if you give us false information, ask us to do something unlawful, fail to pay a milestone that has fallen due, or become uncontactable for an extended period. Where we end an engagement for a reason that is not your fault — for example, we conclude we cannot realistically place you — we will tell you why and discuss a fair resolution with you, which may include a partial refund of a fee paid for work not yet performed. That is at our discretion and is decided case by case.

7. How to pay

  • Card payments are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. Your card details go directly to Stripe; EB3 Hub never sees or stores your full card number.
  • Invoices and payment requests appear in your client portal, and payment links we send by email lead to a Stripe-hosted page on a secure connection.
  • Fees are quoted and charged in U.S. dollars. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion and international transaction charges, which we do not control and cannot refund.
  • Receipts are issued for every payment and are available in your portal.

We will never ask you to send money to an individual's personal account, to a cryptocurrency wallet, or through an informal transfer agent. If you receive such a request, it is not from us — verify with us first. See our fraud warning.

8. Late or failed payments

If a milestone payment is not made when due, work on your case may pause. Government stages have hard deadlines, and a pause can cost you time you cannot recover. If you are having difficulty paying, contact us early — we would rather agree a plan than stop your case.

9. Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at [email protected] with the invoice number and we will investigate promptly. Raising a chargeback with your bank before contacting us often freezes work on your case while it is resolved. If a chargeback is raised in bad faith against services already delivered, we may recover the disputed amount and reasonable costs.

10. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy removes any right you have under a law that cannot be excluded by agreement, including any local consumer-protection right to cancel a contract made at a distance. If your local law gives you a stronger right than this policy, that law applies.
