Cookie Policy
No advertising trackers and no analytics profiling. Here is the short list of what this site actually stores in your browser.
This policy explains the cookies and similar storage that eb3hub.com uses. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
The short version
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site, and nothing here follows you to other websites. The only storage we set is what the site needs to work: a sign-in session cookie for the client portal, and a small note — cleared when you close the tab — of which page you arrived from and which actions you took, so we can tell which parts of the site are useful.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — do a similar job. This policy covers all three, and calls them all "cookies" for simplicity.
2. What we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These are required for the site to function. They cannot be switched off through a consent banner because without them the sign-in and the forms would not work.
PHPSESSID(cookie) — identifies your signed-in session in the client portal and staff area. Set only after you sign in. It is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, so it cannot be read by scripts and is not sent to other sites. It expires when you close your browser or sign out.- CSRF token (held inside the session above) — a one-time value that proves a form submission genuinely came from our own page, protecting your account from cross-site request forgery.
2.2 Functional
eb3_lead_ctx(session storage) — records the page, referring site and campaign that brought you to us, so that when you submit an enquiry an advisor can see the context. It also holds a random visit number used for the measurement described in 2.3. It is cleared automatically when you close the tab, and it is not used to build a profile or to follow you across other websites.- Staff dashboard preferences (local storage) — remembers list filters for signed-in staff. It never applies to public visitors.
2.3 Our own measurement
We count how the site is used so we can tell which pages help people and which traffic is worth our money. This runs entirely on our own servers, and it is built to collect as little as possible:
- No cookie is set for it. The random visit number lives in the session-storage entry above and disappears when you close the tab, so a second visit is a new, unconnected count.
- No personal information is recorded. We store which page was viewed and which button was pressed — never your name, email, phone number, or anything you typed into a form.
- Your IP address is not stored. It is converted into a scrambled value that cannot be turned back into an address, used only to stop automated abuse.
- Nothing is shared. The measurements stay with us and are never sent to an advertising network or data broker.
- Records are deleted after 24 months.
2.4 Advertising and third-party analytics
None. At the time of writing we run no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, and no advertising or profiling cookies of any kind. If that ever changes we will update this page and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before setting them.
3. Third parties that may set cookies
Some services we rely on may set their own cookies when their content loads or when you use them:
- Google Fonts — our typeface is served by Google. Loading it sends your IP address and browser details to Google. Google states that it does not use Fonts requests to create advertising profiles.
- Stripe — our payment provider. When you open a payment page, Stripe sets cookies it uses for fraud prevention and to keep the payment session working. These are necessary to take payment securely.
- WhatsApp and Facebook — only if you click one of those links. From that point you are on Meta's service and its cookie policy applies, not ours.

4. How to control cookies
Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings → Privacy. You can also browse in a private or incognito window, which discards everything when you close it.
Blocking cookies from this site is fine if you are only reading. If you block them and then try to sign in to the client portal, it will not work — the sign-in session cannot be kept without its cookie.
5. Do Not Track
Because we do not track visitors across websites, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honour them by default, simply by not tracking.
6. Changes
If we add cookies — particularly analytics or advertising ones — we will update this page and the "last updated" date above, and we will seek consent where required.
